Entry 4: Relationships

When is it appropriate to date? The age that people (mostly girls) are allowed to date is age 16.  I wonder why everyone thinks the age 16 is the most reasonable age to start dating. People's opinion of dating will always stay the same. Why not 18 years old,  when you're legally grown? This still puzzles me.

I believe my generation has the worst dating problem. Kids who are my age now (12) started dating each other in fourth grade! What do you really even know about relationships in the fourth grade? I think that is too early and too young to enter a relationship with somebody. My mom also agrees with me and so does my English teacher. The deliberate act of dating before you're a teenager is wrong because you don't really know what you are doing, and it can get really complicated when emotions are involved. Although, I am asking why sixteen is the age that a lot of individuals are dating, but I also realize that it's better to date at the age 16 rather than in the fourth grade.

Healthy relationships are important. That's why dating in the fourth grade is wrong. Kids' minds aren't fully matured. Therefore it's not okay for parents to let their children date before they're a teenager. What i'm saying is that you have to know how to love before you try having a relationship with someone. Young children don't know what a healthy relationships are at their age. So I advise all you younger intelligent soon to be amazing women should wait to date.

Faithfulness is another characteristic of a healthy relationship. If your relationship with someone doesn't include faithfulness it's not considered a good relationship. XOXO

Hey sisters, my name is A'keirah and I'm so blessed to have the opportunity to empower middle-school girls  or girls even older than me. This wouldn't be happening without Ms. Williams : )
