Entry #7: Prom

     So my topic today is "Prom", Prom is a tradition that has been passed down for years! I didn't go to prom this year but I plan to go next year. I love how people dress up and get really pretty for prom. But the thing I don't like about prom is that they have a competition for who dresses the best. Prom is about how you have fun with your friends and the process of getting ready with your family.

     I think my first prom experience would be awesome because I would have the opportunity to get really pretty rather than dressing casual on an ordinary day. I'm pretty sure my friends and I would have an awesome time together at our first prom. I would like to go to prom with a boy but I don't think my dad will let me. Most of my friends went to prom this year but I wanted to go my 8th grade year because it would be more special. To be honest with y'all I don't have many friends because of how I talk. I lose my friends because they do things behind my back and not in my face.

     Prom is a beautiful thing that anyone could be able to do. But I don't want anyone to think that they aren't able to go because of how many friends they have. My and I will have the best time of our lives. My teacher says you can't be anyone's friend if you don't show yourself friendly. Your prom should be an amazing thing coming up or passed already don't let anyone determine your destiny.
