Entry #7: Coronavirus

Being cooped up inside is not fun,
Innocent lives are being taken each and every day.
Having a hard time breathing, 
Tears swell within my eyes.

Sooner or later you will leave,
Until then we will have to protect ourselves and others
You spread wide and far,
I see no stopping this disaster.

You challenge us to keep ourselves clean,
If not you will attack,
My heart swells at how unfair you are,
Even newborns are severely affected. 

Suffering is the worst pain,
If you are brave enough then strike if you dare,
I have a greater weapon than you could ever imagine,
Belief in something so holy you couldn't even compare yourself to. 

Keep in mind you will be defeated, 
Even until my last breath, 
I will not let you hurt the ones I love, 
The man above will soon defeat you.
